WASHINGTON FOLK FESTIVAL

GLEN ECHO PARK, MD ยท August 23, 2026

Washington Folk Festival 2026!

The Washington Folk Festival returns to the enchanting Glen Echo Park on Sunday, August 23, 12pm (noon) to 7:00pm. Now a one-day event, expect a jam-packed roster full of dancing, storytelling, and music ranging from American to International styles. You’ll hear bluegrass, Celtic, Americana, blues, and Zydeco, as well as folk music from around the world including a special Middle Eastern track this year. Six stages, including a revival of the family-focused kid-friendly dedicated area, hundreds of performers, food trucks (twice as many as last year!), picnic tables, and it’s all free! Donations gratefully accepted. Please note that parking is on-site and limited so car-pooling is highly recommended. Glen Echo Park, 7300 MacArthur Blvd, Glen Echo, MD 20812. This festival is free because everyone from staff to performers volunteers. We need your help on festival day. Be part of this great event and sign up to volunteer here! This program is presented in cooperation with the Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture, Inc., the National Park Service, and Montgomery County, MD.
