Washington Folk Festival 2026!

The Washington Folk Festival will return on August 23, 2026 as a one-day event,  jam-packed full of dancing, storytelling, and music from around the world! 

We rely on donations, large and small, to make this festival possible. Thank you to those who donated to make the festival possible in 2025. We have already begun organizing for the 2026 Washington Folk Festival and welcome donations. 

GET INVOLVED

This is an all-volunteer event: everyone, including the performers, planners, technicians, and sound engineers, EVERYONE donates their services.

We are looking for volunteers for many different roles:

• Help with prep the day before the festival

• Day of logistics, performer hospitality, and more

• Publicity support and outreach 

• A Volunteer Coordinator who is good at managing schedules

If you want to help out in any of these capacities, please email wffvolunteers@fsgw.org. In addition to being part of a team of awesome helpers, volunteers get food from lovely food trucks, a special pin, and lots of smiles and appreciation! 

Students can also get SSL hours for volunteering.
