On Friday, 3 October 2025, at 7:30 p.m., no-host, no-topic Open Sings will be held both online via Zoom and in person at the FSGW Getaway in West River, Maryland.
The Getaway will offer an in-person-only sing in the Retreat Center lounge. In addition, in Ehlers Hall, other Getaway attendees will attempt to join remote participants in a hybrid session on Zoom.
Anyone joining the Zoom session will have the opportunity to sing, without needing to register in advance for the Open Sing. A link to the Zoom session for remote participants will be sent to the Open Sing Mailing List on Friday afternoon. If you’re not a list member, sign up HERE.
Getaway attendees in either the hybrid session or the in-person-only session will need to bring a COVID test taken that day showing negative results in order to join us at West River. You will need to register at Ehlers Hall lobby when you arrive. West River attendees may not show up before 4 p.m., and must bring their COVID test result (to keep the rest of us healthy).
Admission is free for Friday-only day-trippers to the Getaway. You are welcome to participate in the potluck dinner in the Retreat Center, but please do contribute a dish.
