The Grapevine is spoken word performance for adults and teens, celebrating the timeless art of the story, hosted by storytellers Renée Brachfeld and Tim Livengood.

ABOUT OUR TELLERS:

Carol Birch returns to the Grapevine! Carol’s storytelling style revitalizes language, with an absence of artifice and memories worth keeping. She began performing in 1971. She has two books: Who Says? and The Whole Story Handbook, along with eight recordings. Birch has taught storytelling on both coasts, at USC, UCLA, Wesleyan (CT) and Southern Ct Universities, and led storytelling tours through Ireland, Scotland, and England. More about Carol

Jennifer Munro grew up in the English Midlands, loving the spoken word and a cast of rogues, raconteurs, and heroes gathered at the family table telling stories, sharing secrets, and gossiping. Jennifer tells original stories that resonate with the frailty and courage of humanity. She also tells braided stories that reveal the mystery that lies between myth and reality. She is the author of Aunty Lily and other Delightfully Perverse Stories. Her most recent achievement is a tour-de-force performance of A Christmas Carol. More about Jennifer
