(Potomac River Sacred Harp Singing Convention)

Annually since 1990, this gathering attracts singers from across the country for two days of intense, 4-part, participatory, unaccompanied singing from the classic shape-note tunebook The Sacred Harp and, since 2013, The Shenandoah Harmony. Books will be available for loan or purchase. There is no entrance fee, though a collection will be taken to help cover costs. Experienced singers, newcomers, and listeners are all welcome.Saturday, April 2, 10:00 AM - 3:30 PM: All-Day Singing from The Sacred Harp (1991 ed.) with midday break for dinner.
