  • 8:00 PM - 10:30 PM
  • Mount Lubentia (The Wallace's), Upper Marlboro, MD
For over forty years Bob Bovee has been bringing his wonderful old time music and stories of the West and Midwest to vivid life. Bob originally hails from Nebraska, where his family played and sang the old tunes and songs. Proficient on guitar, banjo, autoharp, and harmonica, Bob earned a number of his songs from his grandmother A fine singer, Bob also teaches and contributes to publications such as the Old Time Herald.

For most of his career, Bob performed with his wife, Gail Heil. Shortly after they last performed here in 2013, Gail passed away, but Bob is determined to carry on the tradition that he and Gail shared, and he continues to perform all over the country.

To find out more about Bob and hear a sample of his music, check out the website at www.boveeheil.com.
