Pierre Chartrand Trio concert & dance (Special Event)

Internationally acclaimed Quebecois percussive dance master Pierre Chartrand, one of the stars of the 2008 Christmas Revels, returns to Washington with his son Alexis Chartrand and Nicolas Babineau as the Pierre Chartrand Trio. For Alexis and Nicolas, this is a CD release tour, introducing their 2017 duo album Gigues à deux faces. Nicolas also released a CD this year with flutist Jean Duval, Compos trad à saveur locale. This concert and dance is the second joint presentation of FSGW and the Washington Revels leading up to the French Canadian Christmas Revels this Decemeber. $20; under 18, $15; members, $5 off.
