2014 Convention (Potomac River Sacred Harp Singing Convention)

Saturday 10:00 AM - 3:30 PM: All-Day Singing from The Sacred Harp and potluck Dinner on the Grounds (local singers, please help feed the multitude). Registration begins at 9:30 AM.

5:00 PM: Social supper at the home of singers Richard and Susan Green in Alexandria. New Traditions singing at 7:00, of four-shape songs not in the Sacred Harp or Shenandoah Harmony, including new compositions and songs from other tunebooks, such as the recently discovered Songs of Zion (1821). To contribute a song, please bring at least 20 copies. The New Traditions coordinator is Mary Ann Daly, 301-229-8534, madaly@verizon.net.
