The Great American Square Dance Revival - Part XXI

  • 24 Aug 2013
  • 8:30 PM - 11:30 PM
  • St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Washington, DC
Friends! It's been a long summer without you and we're eager to gather together again for a night of square dances. So join us to celebrate the last days of summer with some rollicking dances and lively tunes, sure to set the rafters humming.

As always, we'll have a live string band and a caller to walk you through the dances - no experience needed. We'll dance the night away to sizzlin' Old Time dance tunes played by Brad Kolodner (fiddle, banjo), Ken Kolodner (fiddle, hammered dulcimer), Robin Bullock (guitar), and Alex Laquement (bass) for a rip-roaring Appalachian string band ensemble. And our own dearest Gabe Popkin will be calling the figures.

All are welcome ? young and old, brand new and experienced dancers. No partner, lessons, overalls, or fancy dress needed.
