Concerts

2021 / 2022 Sunday Evening Online Concert Series

In light of the coronavirus pandemic, the new season of FSGW Concerts will continue as a series of on-line gatherings on Sunday evenings on the weeks when we’re not presenting dance music. We hope to present interesting combinations of music each time we gather. Even if we are able to stage in-person events, we will try to make a hybrid version available on-line. For security reasons (everyone hates being Zoom-bombed!) we’ll ask you to register in advance to receive the links to the Zoom meeting.

When:  Alternate Sundays.

Doors open at 7:00 PM. Performances start at 7:30 PM. After the performance, the room will stay open until 10:00 PM for socializing or singing around, and we will invite our performers to stick around and join us.

Details: We'll break after 30 or 45 minutes (depending on the number of performers),  for just a few minutes to let everyone interact with the evening’s performers and ask questions. After a few announcements (and a gentle reminder to donate if you haven’t yet), we’ll return to the music. Afterwards, we’ll stay open until 10:00 pm, with breakout rooms for socializing, schmoozing, and even singing together if you wish, and we’ll invite the performers to stick around and play with us. (All times are Eastern time zone; but you can watch from anywhere in the world.)

Where:  Via Zoom.  When you register we will send you the Zoom information.

Admission:   Free, but we ask for a $20 donation per person if you like what you hear. The more you give, the more the performers earn.
