Doo Wop Sings

We sing classic songs from the 1950s and 1960s – the "good old songs" from the early days of rock and roll, when voices were more important than guitars. We try to emulate the street-corner close harmonies of songs such as Silhouettes on the Shade, Sh-Boom, Blue Moon, and In The Still of the Night, and we sing other wonderful harmony-rich songs by groups such as the Everly Brothers and by the "girl groups". Lyric packets are available.

When: About once a quarter, usually about 6:30 on a Saturday evening. We start with an optional potluck dinner that begins around 5:30.

Where: Potomac MD.   Contact Ron Davies for address and directions.

Admission:  Free
