Directions to Glen Echo Town Hall

Street address: 6106 Harvard Avenue  Glen Echo, MD 20812

Venue website: https://glenecho.org/town-hall/

Google Maps:  https://goo.gl/maps/v5XS5kFyhVz

Public Transportation: The closest bus is Ride-On Route 29, which connects from Friendship Heights Station and Bethesda Station on the Metro Red Line. Evening events normally end too late to catch a return bus, but talk to the FSGW people in charge, and we'll arrange a ride home, or at least back to the Metro.

Handicap Access:  Fully accessible unisex toilet. Wheelchair access is through a lift/elevator opening up onto the parking lot behind the hall. Unfortunately, this elevator is sometimes broken and so unusable. Advance notice to FSGW is required of any need for the elevator, in order for us to find out if it is currently usable, and if so to obtain the elevator keys from the town. First time users (and others as well) might wish to be met for a brief tutorial in the idiosyncrasies involved in operation of this lift. If you prefer not to learn, we'll be happy to escort you.

Parking: There is parking behind Town Hall, on Harvard Avenue in front of Town Hall, across MacArthur Boulevard on Annan Drive, and at the Glen Echo Park/ Clara Barton House lot at Oxford Road and University Avenue.  (These are suggestions from the town so that residents can park in front of their houses.)  For handicapped patrons, see the Handicapped Access section above.
