Public transportation: Take the Metro Red Line to the Friendship Heights or Bethesda station, and catch the Ride-On Bus 29 bus to Glen Echo (please note that the weekday schedule and weekend schedules are different). The bus stop is at the intersection of Goldsboro Road and MacArthur Boulevard. Cross MacArthur Boulevard and head left (east) along the bike path. You will see a parking lot on your left. Go through the lot and down the hill. You will see the stone tower and the large pylons which mark the entrance.
Handicap Access: All buildings at the park are ADA compliant; wheelchair access is by ramps, elevators, or lifts.
Parking: There are two parking lots. The upper lot is fairly small, and requires permits from 8 am to 4 pm. The lower lot is much larger and does not require permits. Parking on the grassy areas near the lot is permitted, particularly on weekends. Access to the lower lot is via Oxford Road, off MacArthur Boulevard.
Miscellaneous: The entrance to the Park from the lower parking lot is not conspicuous nor well marked. Follow the sidewalk along the row farthest from Oxford Road. You will see a pedestrian bridge to your right. Cross that bridge, and walk uphill along the path.
